There is this woman…
I can’t help but smile when I see her
Sometimes she looks a mess.
While some times she is dressed to impress.
There are days that I shake my head at her actions
While there are other days that I cheer with every success
But no matter what.
I’m head over heels in love with this woman!
She is quirky and nerdy.
She is childish and wise
She is fragile and yet strong.
The way that she sings is dreadful…
But the way she dances is divine.
The way that she touches me and the way we sex leads me to deeper levels of my heart and my soul.
The sex is orgasmic because it is soulful!
Even when I’m angry with her… when she has me screaming at the top of my lungs. When I don’t want to look her in the eye or am resistant to seeing what she is presenting to me..
I still love her. I am angry with her actions but could never truly hate her. I love her deeply even in these moments.
A beautiful, strong, powerful, lovable woman!
It is the forever type of love. The love that sustains.
The love that will stabilize and encourage all other relationships that come into my world.
My love for this woman is my foundation… my rock!
My love for this woman connect me with GOD!
And I didn’t always love this woman.
We used to fight and brawl. I used to call her names. Do abusive and hurtful things to her.
I would pass over her love for the love of another to fill me.
Until I tuned in and realized that my deepest hearts desire was right in front of me the entire time.
That until I gave in to this overpowering love, that I would be fighting an uphill battle for the rest of my life.
I’m in love with a woman… and that woman is ME!

Yes, I am in love with myself.
Because if I am not in love with myself, the most important person in my life, then I won’t be able to give a deeper meaningful love to anyone else that I’m in relationship with.
Often we are raised to not be boastful or brag.
When in truth, when we are shining our light and willing and able to own our gifts and beauty, then and only then can we truly help, love, and guide others in our lives. Only then will we shine and have our abundance rain down upon us.
Self-love is required and needed for us to be our best selves but that also requires us owning it and embodying it. To not dim our light in order to appease others but shine ever bright to truly touch others.
Being in love with self does not mean that we love every action or behavior. Just like if your child is throwing a temper tantrum you don’t love the behavior but your still love the child. Though it means at the end of the day loving ourselves and seeing the beauty that we are and the beauty that we are still expanding into.
Loving self is constantly checking in with self and soul. It is setting healthy boundaries. It is taking time out for our health and also our growth. Self love is forgiving our missteps and touching into that humanness in those moments. Loving self is seeing and shining your light no matter what!
