?”Under an old brass paperweight is my list of things to do today
Go to the bank and the hardware store, put a new lock on the cellar door
I cross ’em off as I get ’em done but when the sun is set
There’s still more than a few things left I haven’t got to yet” – Toby Keith “My List” ?

A few weeks ago the strangest thing was happening with my phone. Every time someone called me or I got a notification, a song would start playing. The weird thing wasn’t that my phone was deciding to play a song but that it began playing the above song that I wasn’t listening too prior. I don’t really listen to a lot of country music and so when my phone (or let’s be honest… spirit) decided to play this song for about a week straight, I began paying attention.

Then suddenly, it stopped playing. As soon as I listened to the message.

And today as I was driving to go have a coffee date, in the gorgeous sunny weather, and feeling amazing excitement and energy from booking flights for an upcoming trip…. I was reminded of this song.

And some of the remainder of the lyrics….

?”So why put off for tomorrow what I could get done today
Like go for a walk, say a little prayer
Take a deep breath of mountain air
Put on my glove and play some catch
It’s time that I make time for that” ?

Last year I can honestly say that I did not play enough!
It was a year of seriousness, introspection, and a good long hard look at my own ego. But play was scare because I was so caught up in the things that I did not drop into the times of play like I wish I had

And I have seen the same thing in my clients. Not dropping in and enjoying life in the moments that the Universe opens up to chances to laugh, giggle, and feel pleasure.

Many people will spend their lives dreaming about their dreams but never truly living their dreams. Why? Because they are too caught in the hustle.

They get stuck on all the little tasks that need done. They get stuck in the money that needs to get made. They get stuck in their own heads.

Instead of living and reveling in beautiful energy of their children, their friends, their favorite hobbies or learning something new.

Not taking the time to enjoy the lives that we are striving to build and create. The average person believes that the harder they work the more successful they will be in their lives. This is actually a belief system that I grew up believing as well.

But it’s simply not true. We don’t need to work harder but we need to work smarter and work more passionately. When we are working then focusing in on the work ahead but also having a time when we simply put work away. We need to have passion for the work and things we are doing throughout our day.

And then… we need to simply play and enjoy life!
What is the point of making all the money we strive to make? What is the point of being in relationship? What’s the point of raising children? What’s the point of dreaming at all, if we never take the time to stop and enjoy these things?

The element that many people don’t understand is that things come to us when we are in the higher vibrations…. which requires us to find time for play, laughter, and all those things that we think we “don’t have time for”….

When in truth, we don’t have time NOT too!

We will waste valuable time and energy trying to hustle and grind instead of finding a playful groove

Yes, buckling down and doing what needs to be done at times but also allowing freedom and release in others.

It’s time that I make time for that in 2019….
It’s time that you make time for that in 2019….

Sending you all

Love, Light, & Blessings!
