This morning I opened my backdoor to get some fresh air blowing through my home and to give my cat, Athena, a chance to roam.
The last few days, Athena was crying at the door about wanting to go outside but with the recent rain and chill she had been denied each and every time. (She’s a 95% indoor cat)
We as a world right now are fearful.
All it takes is to turn on the news, walk through the grocery store, or look at the empty streets.
There is fear all around us and even if we are personally staying calm the energy is still contagious.
What’s the fear???
At the end of the day it comes down to death.
Death from a virus.
Death from hunger.
Death of life as we know it.
We each have a perception of the people of our lives based on our experience with them. We begin to build boxes in which to make sense of a person and their actions. Much of this is done through assumptions and where we choose to focus.
All I can do is be HERE….In this moment.
Opening my heart and loving you.
Holding fierce space.
But I can not “fix” you.
Because there is nothing to fix.

Let me start this by sharing that I had a long a torturous journey with anxiety myself. I went through deep panic attacks and would feel the terror in my body frequently growing up. I was diagnosed over and over again with several different anxiety disorders.
