I hear it pop out of my mouth before I can even correct it and I cringe. “I’m going to let God help me”. Really? Really?
Who the f*ck do I think I am that I am going to “allow” God to help me!
Thankfully the person I’m talking to doesn’t let me get away with that bullsh*t! And surrender becomes the object of focus.
Surrender can be one of the hardest things to do as humans. To allow ourselves to drop the questions. To drop the thinking and processing and simply go with the flow. To open our hearts to God and all that is in store for us.
Though we instead get caught up in our egos. We grasp and try to control, plan, and figure it all out with our narrow human viewpoints. Though the more we reach and grasp the further what we desire gets from us.
This is true in all areas of our lives….sex, relationships, career, dreams, etc.
In sexing we must learn to surrender into ourselves and thus surrender to our core (love/God). In this we can connect and surrender to another and thus their core. No surrender means a limited connection with true orgasm.
The same goes for our goals and dreams. We must find a way to surrender and let them flow in the way they were meant to flow. This can be difficult when you have a passion, a desire, and a focus….so we work to control it instead of allowing it to emanate from our very being. Letting God simply flow through us in the way we were meant to flow.
Way easier said than done at times but so very important. As I was recently reminded of in the above scenario. Truly although it can FEEL hard… surrender is the easiest thing in the world as well.
BREATHE IN, BREATHE OUT.
FEEL your HEART.
Move focus from your rambling thoughts and into connecting with body and spirit.
And REPEAT!
And be on the lookout for the signs when you are not surrendering. Believe me God will remind you!
